How to replace a Hard drive in BIG-IP 1600 SERIES
Hi, we have a BIG-IP 1600 SERIES which has a hard drive failure. I know this a really old device but I have been asked to see if it is reparable. I have sourced a similar drive but have a question as to what is stored on the hard drive and if I was to replace physical drive what steps would I need to take to get the appliance operational again. I have searched F5 forums but cant see any information on doing so. Would someone be able to point me in the right direction please?

Hi,
As far as I know and from configuration point of view you just needs UCS file and then you can import it once you have new hard drive. Hard drive contains configutrations files and have various log directories.
But for you UCS is the important one but you wana keep those logs , you can just copy those all.
