How to monitor back end jVM and make pool member down?
Hi Team,
We have 2 JBOSS instances running 10.1.2.3:11080 & 10.1.2.3:11081 , Configured LB and added those 2 pool members in pool.
I have back end 2 WM servers running 10.20.1.2:8080 & 10.20.1.2:18080.
node1 JBoss instances talk to node1 WM server & node2 JBoss instances talk to node2 WM server.
Now if any one of the WM server down, how the LB identifies and make the JBOSS instance down and send the request to the another server.
How to configure dependency health monitor? Please advice.

create a special monitor for each pool member and assign it to each member.
for example your pool consists of jboss1 / jboss2 create a custom monitor called wm-check and special the IP address and port (TCP) under the pool member assign this health monitor to jboss1. repeat for jboss2. Now if either of those servers fails - jboss1 or wm1 that pool member is marked down and traffic re-routed. same for jboss2/wm2
