How to Modify the iFile without deleting and re-creating it?

Hi All,

Any ideas how i can modify the iFile (replace entire contents ) without deleting and re-creating it automatically from the command line?

This file needs to be automatically uploaded every time when a cron job is run with the new data (entire file is replaced with the new contents) generated @ runtime.

for example:

I have a file in /config/abc/ folder and the file called key-value-pair.txt file and this file is initially uploaded manually onto the F5 -> Local Traffic -iRule.

Now i need this iFile to be replaced entirely with the runtime generated data generated using cron job so that every day gets updated with the runtime data ont othe same file as this iFile is being referenced by my iRule.
