How to disable SSLv3 negotiation for the BIG-IP Configuration utility
I have the same error if I try this on an older V10 unit. It means there is no match to the query.
Try this for example.
openssl ciphers -v 'ALL'
This will give you all available options like the below from my old lab unit.
ADH-AES256-SHA SSLv3 Kx=DH Au=None Enc=AES(256) Mac=SHA1
DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA SSLv3 Kx=DH Au=RSA Enc=AES(256) Mac=SHA1

As you can see there are no TLS Options .... If I change the query to remove SSLv3 I get this....

DES-CBC-MD5 SSLv2 Kx=RSA Au=RSA Enc=DES(56) Mac=MD5
EXP-RC2-CBC-MD5 SSLv2 Kx=RSA(512) Au=RSA Enc=RC2(40) Mac=MD5 export
RC2-CBC-MD5 SSLv2 Kx=RSA Au=RSA Enc=RC2(128) Mac=MD5
EXP-RC4-MD5 SSLv2 Kx=RSA(512) Au=RSA Enc=RC4(40) Mac=MD5 export
RC4-MD5 SSLv2 Kx=RSA Au=RSA Enc=RC4(128) Mac=MD5
So only the SSLv2 option is left. If you play with the options you can narrow down the list of available ciphers suites and what you can use.
I had a quick look at my V11 units and came across this as a seemingly good start in securing the GUI.
