How to check the effect of upgrade to 2200S (F5-ADD-BIG-2200S license)

Hi,

 

We have upgraded a couple of F5 BIG-IP 2000S with "F5-ADD-BIG-2200S" licenses. Is there a way to check which features and features this license unlocked? For example, it is my understanding that this license unlocks the other half of CPUs that the 2000S does not use. However, the

 

(tmos) show /sys host-info

 

<...>

 

CPU Count 4 Active CPU Count 2

 

displays 2 active CPUs even after "F5-ADD-BIG-2200S" license application and appliance reboot. We are currently using: Product BIG-IP Version 11.6.0 Build 5.0.429 Edition Hotfix HF5

 

So, not clear if this is a SW inconsistence or the license actually works differently.

    The upgrade from 2000S to 2200S doesn't use more cores; it enables higher performance out of TMM on the same hardware. Additionally, it increases the SSL TPS limit and enables hardware compression rather than software.
