How to check F5 Load Balancer with license maximum throughput, is there any capacity limits?
I would like to know how do I check F5 Load Balancer maximum throughput/bandwidth with a license. Because of the LB is currently using 10GBps physical cables, I would like to know whether the license of the F5 LB limits the capacity of the throughput.

To determine the maximum allowed throughput rate for a BIG-IP VE system, perform the following procedure:
Impact of procedure: Performing the following procedure should not have a negative impact on your system.
Log in to the TMOS Shell (tmsh) by typing the following command: tmsh
To display the maximum allowed throughput rate, type the following command: show /sys license detail | grep perf_VE_throughput_Mbps
The error you will see in logs is as below:
tmm[3767]: 01010045:5: Bandwidth utilization is 25 Mbps, exceeded 75% of Licensed 25 Mbps

Hi Vinit, thanks for the reply. I have used the command show /sys license detail | grep perf_VE_throughput_Mbps. All I can see is perf_VE_throughput_Mbps [1], does that meaning the LB only have 1Mbps?

Hi Soon,
Yes that is correct. Bandwidth license is for 1mbps
