How do I query GTM to determine which IP's are configured for Global URL
We configure our Active Active site Global URL in the GTM and when we take a site down for maintenance we disable the entry for the site that is offline this can also occur of the GTM does not see the site based on a health check and then the GTM will disable the ip for the site that is down. I'd like to monitor the Global URL's active IP's configured in the GTM so that the monitoring script will report the current active site(s).
for example
example.com is mapped to 10.0.0.1 and 10.0.0.2 in the GTM
during a maintenance activity 10.0.0.1 is disabled so the GTM now only reports 10.0.0.2 as the ip addresses for the domain example.com
is there a way to query this at the GTM and or DNS to get the list of active IP's for a given host name.
Thank you

The short answer is "no". The longer answer is that, in the relatively simple cases, you could follow the configuration elements, remove Virtual Server objects that are marked "down", then derive the answer. This could be done by retrieving the relationship between configuration elements via SNMP or iControl. This is, however, greatly complicated by things like Topology configurations and (even more profoundly) iRules. In fact, when one factors in iRules, even the BIG-IP doesn't "know" which answer it will give until a request is fully processed.
