Host Reboot post resource provisioning on Guest - vCMP
We have i5800 with vCMP and 3 guests on them.
1.Do we need to provision only on Guest or Host also needed the module to be provisioned (We need APM on only one Guest among 3 Guests)
2.Would like know if need a reboot of F5 i5800 is needed, post provisioning APM module on the Guest.

Your Host needs to be licensed for any modules that you wish to use in the guests.
When the Host is provisioned for VCMP it is dedicated to VCMP, and you cannot provision any other modules. Once you create guests, you can provision them with the modules they require.
And you don't need to reboot the host when guest provisioning changes.

Hi,
I agree. A license needs to be updated on Host. You will see reactive license option only in a host, not on the guest. So, always perform license update on the host. You can modify module for guest in resource provisioning session.
