Help. I have deleted a RSA key. Is there any way to retrieve this key?

The key was not archived. I have the original csr - is there a process to re-create the RSA key from this?

    Is the F5 unit part of an HA pair? If you haven't synchronized configurations, you might be able to fetch the key from the Standby unit.

     

    I don't know when this directory was introduced, but it's on our 11.2.1 systems:

     

    /config/filestore/.trash_bin_d/

     

    Under this directory I found a certificate I deleted almost a year ago; perhaps the keys are under this directory as well?

    did that worked? Does the folder contains all the deleted certs and keys ?

    yes but i understand trash bin is cleaned up when rebooting a unit (i.e. tmsh load sys config).
