Has anyone tried Load Balancing CAPWAP Tunnels?

The idea is to Load Balance 2 Cisco 8510 WLC's and the traffic to be CAPWAP Tunnel's for use with OfficeExtend. AP 600's to be the clients connecting. Traffic would be CAPWAP UDP ports 5246 and 5247

 

Just wondering if anyone has tried it and if they where able to create an intelligent health monitor rather than ping?

    Interesting idea. I don't know much about WLCs and the protocols involved but I'd imagine a UDP monitor with an appropriate send and receive string would be far better than ICMP.
