Hardware Refresh Best Practices
What is the best ways to ensure the migration of configuration from older hardware to either BIG-IP VE or new hardware ?
- UCS with no platform check
- SCF - Complete load sys config
- SCF manually configuring piece by piece - merging components one by one
I was sceptic with UCS and that carries all network and management IPs along, and in a production environment it may mess up things while performing it.
same with full SCF load, it has so many dependent network and management-ip and route related config, that may not host and may mess up management IP.
