I've set up BIG-IP HA Pairs when they are located next two each other on the same datacenter.
Is it possible to configure a BIG-IP HA Pair, using Network Failover, with the boxes located on different sites?

Yes, sure you can. As long as the vlans can stretch across the two sites.
