Guidance on setting up SSO Configuration between F5 AD and Office 365 ADFS
Our Webtop currently uses Active Directory to authenticate users. What we are trying to figure out is how to set up an SSO Configuration between the webtop and ADFS on both Office 365 and On-Premise.
Has anyone done something like this before and know how to set this up?
If you could keep the response simplified too that would be great because I am still trying to pick the configuration utility up.
I have never done it myself but F5 usually have great deployment guides. Here is one regarding configuring the F5 BIG-IP as an SAML IdP for Office 365. It uses an iApp to create the necessary configuration so it should be pretty straight forward. The descriptive text of the Deployment Guide states the following:
"This document contains guidance on configuring the BIG-IP® APM as an IdP for Office 365 to perform Single Sign-On between the local Active Directory user accounts and Office 365-based resources such as Microsoft Outlook Web App and Microsoft SharePoint®"
Configuring the BIG-IP APM as a SAML 2.0 Identity Provider for Microsoft Office 365
I hope this helps!
