GTM

Hi All,

I am getting two IPs instead of one when i am doing nslookup of one application. Ex :-

abc.company.net Server: qwe.company.net Address: 10.22.46.80

Name: wide ip name Addresses: 10.95.67.98 10.95.21.98 Aliases: abc.company.net

GTM Conf :-

LB Pref Method :- Global Availability Alternate :- Round Robin Fallback :- Return to DNS

Please help me in resolving this issue

Regards, ShashankS

  • Can you share the status of the pool member Virtual Servers you have assigned to the Wide IP?

The default if all pool members is to fall back (

    Return to DNS
) to the internal BIND DNS which will reply with multiple records if you have multiple pool member Virtual Servers configured.

You can change this behavior by changing the secondary and/or fall back methods to

    Fallback IP
    and setting the IP or
    None
to not give any reply at all.
