GTM: Topology Example

Hi,

I have the following example, two records as below at WideIP example.com, when I dig at "example.com" from 10.11.70.207, I was expecting to get only Pool_1 as answer, but I got round robin between both pools, based on this link it's not normal, but I don't know what I missed?! this behavior at two different versions (11.3, and 11.5)

IP Subnet is 10.11.70.207/32        Pool is Pool_1            100
IP Subnet is 10.11.70.0/24          Pool is Pool_2            100

    Can you please, provide a bit more information on the WIP load balancing algorithm ? I am guessing it is topology based - right ? Any other settings that can influence decision making ?

     

    Also, can you also copy/paste the lines from the link that you are refering ?
