GTM To Answer non Wide IP queries
Hi,
The requirement is to use GTM to answer the Wide IP and also non-Wide IP queries, means GTM will be the sole DNS server in the network.
I understand that once the Wide IP is configured the GTM will resolve the IP for it but I am not sure how to configure GTM to answer any non-Widi IP related query, my guess is that we have to configure root servers addresses on GTM and also to use DNS cache.
Can you please tell me the configuration and if there is a document/solution guide available then please share the link?
Thanks,

Zubair,
GTM resolves queries in an order so if query isn't a WIP then it can be configured to direct to DNS servers, be authoritative for a zone, resolve from its cache or use its local bind service.
Think the implementation guide will help.

thanks Nathan,
So what needs to be configured on GTM to answer any non-WIP query and also cache those answers, what are configuration steps?

It's a mix of listener, DNS profile and perhaps DNS express. Too many steps to detail but hopefully askf5 guides have all the info.
