GTM software upgrade - Experience/Impact

Hi All,

 

I have to upgrade the Standalone GTM software upgrade from version 11.2.1 to 12.1.2 with latest Hotfix.

 

Do anyone has done software upgrade from /to same version ? Kindly help me with you experience on it.

 

Any precaution ( except saving UCS file on remote device) need to considered ?

 

Any impact on production traffic due to upgrade ?

    I am guessing you have 1 GTM per DC. This may be of help. Although, I have never done code upgrade to 12.x the process may be of use.

    I dont see any issue in upgrading the GTM from 11.2 to 12.1.2 Unlike LTM upgrade, GTM Upgrades are not usually complicated and this should also be straight forward if you are not having GTM as your master DNS server Make sure you take a backup prior to upgrade and save it in remote machine.
