Is it true to say that if I create a generic host server on the GTM with a monitor with no prober pool that the GTM will always mediate this "probe"?
The only reason I ask is that the example in the doco apparently has this scenario BUT has the GTM soliciting an LTM(s) to perform the probe and I cannot work out the (GTM-LTM) connection here … unless it is the case that any GTM with a trust set up with an LTM will de facto hit up an LTM to off load monitoring.
