Jan 25, 2017Hi, my understanding of the two settings:
1)
DNS>> Settings: GLSB : Load Balancing > Verify Virtual Server Availability
<-- This is the global setting. When it is disabled, availability of all VS are not checked & they are available for selection, even if the Verify Member Availability option is enabled in the wideip pool.
2)
DNS ›› GSLB : Pools : Pool List ›› New Pool... > Verify Member Availability
<-- This setting allows us to overwrite the global setting for a specific wideip pool. E.g. to bypass pool member checking for a specific wideip pool, even though the global setting to verify VS availability is enabled.
The above are based on my observations. Appreciate if someone could correct me if my understanding is inaccurate.
