Hi, What is the F5 recommended way of monitoring the the virtual servers configured in GTM. Integrate LTMs to the GTM and use iQuery to monitor LTM. Here LTM will take care of the Monitoring and send report to GTM.bigip monitor can be used to achieve the same.Configure GTM to monitor the VIPs in LTM directly. Here no need to intergrate LTM to GTM. We need to use tcp,http,https monitors. which is the prefered option?

The preferred is option 1. Without it you can not discover (auto populate) the virtual's servers from LTM into GTM so you would have to enter each manually. It also leverages LTM knowledge of their status for GTM to use so its much more efficient in that regard.
