GTM Failsafe

I was looking into the failsafe modes for GTM, and I was surprised that gateway failsafe is not an option, any reason why?

 

 

Anyway, my GTM is setup with the lone self-IP on each unit of an HA pair on a vlan-group. So if vlan failsafe is my only option, where does it make sense to initiate the failover, on the vlans comprising the vlan group, the vlan group itself, or both?

    Case number is C384293 for the gateway failsafe availability.

     

     

    I may redesign my GTM solution, there are so many bugs associated with the vlan group...

    Big shocker...that is a feature that is not yet a part of the product, so a request for enhancement might get created, I'll keep the class informed.
