GTM failover and IP address cache

Hi guys,

 

 

I have a question about how F5 GTM failover works: my understanding was that the browser caches ip address of the DC/VIP based on the DNS lookup. What happens if client connects, and the VIP is down on that DC? Does GTM in one DC contact GTM in another DC for a new IP to which client is eventually sent?
