GTM and Outlook

Hello - We are facing a challenge with directing outlook users to appropriate mail servers. We have exchange servers in London and New York. Currently, NA users point to na-exchange.company.com and the EU users point to eu-exchange.company.com.

We'd like to have all users point to exchange.company.com via a WIP with topology based load balancing. The WIP would point to the regional servers via LTM vips.

Unfortunately, this poses problems for users traveling outside of their home region. For example, an NA user who travels to EU would be directed via GTM to the EU exchange server. However, the users mailbox does not exist here - it only exists on the NA exchange server.

We were thinking that after the outlook client resolved the nearest mail server that we could then have the LTM authenticate and identify user via ldap, then with that issue a redirect to user's home mail server. Unfortunately, this wouldn't work for non web mail connections.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your help.
