Google Authenticator Generating Tokens

So I have been using (https://devcentral.f5.com/articles/two-factor-authentication-with-google-authenticator-and-ldap.U48bEXI_l2V) and I have not been able to generate a Google authentication token. “The iRule can be added directly to an HTTP virtual server without a a pool and accessed directly to create tokens.” I might be doing something wrong but trying to visit the ip of the virtual server does not seem to be the answer.Can any one elaborate on the proper procedure for generating this token?
