After ASM is turned on, I am not allowed to upload any PHP files. Where do I need to turn off this feature to upload PHP files?

AltostratusMethod not allowed - that looks like your server declined the file upload - rather than the ASM blocking it. The ASM response page does not (by default) reveal a reason why it was blocked.
