Facing issue with different ports in pool !!!

Hi All

 

We are facing some issue as in the requirement is like VIP is on Any port and Server is on Any port configuration Now if we need to check specific port for specific application how it can be monitored using irule let say we have 20 ports in the backend so how we will come to know that which port out of 20 ports is not working.

    Hi Abhinav, my english is not very skilled, so your request is a bit confused for me. If I understand well, you have to check wath port on a server is down. You can create 20 tcp monitor on specific ports and apply them to 20 pool containing the server. When the server have a tcp port down, the specific pool go down (after 16 seconds, by default). It's clear that, if the number of ports grow, this solution is not easily scalable.
