F5 ssl-vpn

Hi,

 

Can we use production F5s as VPN or do we need separate HA boxes for that.. it might be silly question but just want to confirm. What is the limit of connections in VPN ? If I want to allow more than 1000 connections per day is that possible ..?

    This is a tough one to answer without knowing your models, normal load, system resources and average user session resource usage.

     

    My suggestion would be to contact F5 presales for an estimate.

    Hi,

     

    The limit is not connections per day but simultaneous connections.

     

    You can determine how many simultaneous connections are included in you license here and platform limits here
