F5 SSL Certificate

Hi All,

 

I have query about SSL offloading in F5.

 

In F5, I have installed client SSL cert which is signed by CA. I have installed server SSL which is default server SSL becuase backend servers are using SSL certificate.

 

Q: Is this mandatory to use same certificate client SSL cert which is signed by CA (used LB client side) & in backend servers ? it is optional ?
