F5 Programmability for Eclipse - connection to management IP not possible
Hello all,
I installed today the F5 Programmability for Eclipse version 1.0, but I am not able to access my F5 devices. I tried to found the issue, but with no luck.
Details: - from Eclipse management IPs are reachable - tested via Eclipse Internal Web Browser: - connection is visible in Windows Resource Monitor and ProxyCap log - Connection is via VPN and than SAS/jump server to connect to F5 boxes - I use ProxyCap to manage this - When I attempt to connect via the F5 (Add new Conenction) I do not see connection attempt in the Windows Resource Monitor nor in the Proxy Cap log, it looks like there is no attempt at all to connect

The eclipse connection first attempts to connect on tcp-echo before establishing a connection. If TCP port 7 traffic is silently dropped, it will never attempt the HTTPS connection. It seems that even a RST to the initial SYN allows the connection attempt to proceed.
This may be your issue here.
