F5 Networks VPN Adapter driver doesnt install on Windows 8 tablet
Hi All
Trying to install the F5 Networks VPN adapter on a Windows 8 Lenovo Tablet running Windows 8 Pro. Driver shows with a yellow warning and the error: "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged o that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)"
Any ideas? It looks to me like a broken Windows 8 driver. I thought the F5 client was now bundled with Windows 8 but is the driver compatible? Is this just a broken driver and if so, can anyone point me at a working one?

The F5 client is indeed now bundled with Windows 8 (8.1 I believe). It'll be in your "Add a VPN Connection" configuration.

Which version of APM or firepass are you running? I'm on 11.4 and I know I had to install it from the desktop browser side, the metro screen browser wouldn't allow it to install correctly.

Have the same issue which doesn't allow to me to establish the VPN connection even after uninstalling the adapters also. Shows the same error message " @oem40.inf,%ver_device_str%adapter" under other devices in device manager. The F5 VPN adapter is not getting installed or the PC not able to identify the F5 name .

Solved the issue by manually updating the software to point to F5 VPN adapter package file with the latest date.
