F5 LTM upgrade

Hi

 

I need to upgrade F5 1600 LTM from 10.2.1 to 10.2.4.I have different HD volumes as below with base and HOTFIX images Current boot image: HD1.2 - title BIG-IP 10.2.1 Build 496.0 Default boot image: HD1.2 - title BIG-IP 10.2.1 Build 496.0 Available boot image(s): HD1.1 - title BIG-IP 11.4.1 Build 635.0 HD1.2 - title BIG-IP 10.2.1 Build 496.0 HD1.3 - title BIG-IP 10.2.4 Build 817.0 HD1.4 - title BIG-IP 11.4.1 Build 635.0

 

If i want to use HD 1.3 to upgrade the LTM to 10.2.4 will command tmsh install sys software image BIGIP-10.2.4.577.0.iso volume HD1.3 format HD 1.3 automatically and install base of 10.2.4 as it already contains HOTfix of 10.2.4.Also will tmsh install sys software image BIGIP-10.2.4.577.0.iso volume HD1.3 pick image BIGIP-10.2.4.577.0.iso directly from /shared/images where it is placed or i have to give that option in tmsh install sys software image BIGIP-10.2.4.577.0.iso volume HD1.3 command.

 

Please help clarify above doubts as new to upgrade process.
