F5 ltm Tomcat port 8080 don't display non secure content

I configured my nodes with service port 8080. For Liferay (Tomcat). I created my virtualservers for port 80 and 443. If i go to my tomcat server on port 8080, the page is displayed correct. If i go to F5 on the virtual server, i have a message from the browser. The page have a non secure content, do you want to display the non secure content ...

I don't understand why.

  • when i enable the Irule, F5 ask this message 01070394:3: STREAM::disable in rule (Redirection-http-https) requires an associated STREAM profile on the virtual server (Portail-CA-liferay

  • In the configuration of the virtual server, you need to select a STREAM profile. For this implementation you can just use the empty STREAM parent profile.

  • Should i use this rule on HTTP virtual server or HTTPS virtual server ? Probably http. And the Stream Profile, on Http, https or all. Just for sure i have the correct configuration.

  • No, all of it on the HTTPS VIP. We're trying to eliminate the need for the HTTP VIP.

  • I see a redirection, but the message from the browser is before. After a accept the browser warning, the site is displayed correctly.

did you apply the irule Kevin suggested?

  • Agree. If you're using the prescribed iRule, you should not be seeing http:// references at the client.

  • Hi there, I have exactly the same issue. Did you fix this issue??? Best Regards
