F5 LTM GTM load balancer DOS attack
Does F5 LTM GTM load balancer set up provide protection against denial of service attack ?
e.g. request from Spartan, SWS and DMX are processed on same server. If one of them goes bad and starts doing one of the following, is it possible to protect other clients from impact? 1. Too many concurrent requests 2. Opening the socket with HTTP keep alive but opening fresh socket for next connection instead of using previous one. This will fill up socket count.

I'm guessing those are all LTM functions (thanks to HTTP)?

In that case, check out this beaut of an iRule:
