Hi,
Our smtp relay servers are using F5 LTM 8900 LB.
Could anyone advise how the smtp health check of the F5 works?

Basically, you have to set the Health monitor the same way you configure a system to send e-mail using smtp.

How to access the existing iRule?
Note that the F5 smtp health check was working fine for the smtp relay servers. After applying the regular patch for the smtp relay server, the health check of the F5 failed though the smtp replay server is working fine by using "telnet 25" from other server.
