Tony, You'll need to contact an f5 distributor inoder to purchase the required license.

The 90 day trial key is only valid for version 10.1 only. if you need to evaluate another version contact your account manager or distributor.
- Tony, Please contact your local F5 sales team, who can assist in providing you with the necessary license.

The good news is that I believe the Lab VE's are now about $100 (Or was that £100?)

Be careful with the Lab license if you're looking at OAM/Oracle. We were sold the Lab license (when it was £1000+) - to POC Oracle Access Manager - and although it supports the APM module - it's only "APM-Lite" - which doesn't include OAM functionality. I've had long-running discussions on this with our F5 account manager - and I'm still stuck with a constantly renewing eval license. There's no documentation on the website which says it doesn't support OAM - and we were specced and sold it by our reseller - so technically we don't have what we paid for - but all they will give us is a (very small) discount on the full 200Mbs VE license - which is something like 10 times more expensive that what we paid for the lab license. I'm hearing that the new cheap $95 lab license may support OAM - but I don't see anything on here which confirms that.
If F5 can confirm - or if anyone's bought a new lab license and can confirm that would be much appreciated!

Well... It is a lab license... Is it that OAM doesn't work? or just that it's not supported? [I don't have OAM at current site]

Yeah. No know about the log... It says that every boot whether you've got OAM configured or not...
But what happens if you actually try to configure & use it?
