F5 LTM - Both units on Standby but it works?
Hi All,
Very bizarre issue here, have 2 x 5200v F5 LTM's running VCMP. We have a single LTM guest on each 5200v and they work absolutely fine however on the host F5's the both show as "Standby" with neither unit being Active. There's no option to force one to Stanby, if I restart one box the other still stays as "Standby" but everything still works! When the second box comes back up it briefly goes active before reverting to Standby/Standby again!
This is definitely an issue because we have the exact same setup at the DR site and the F5 hosts correctly show Active/Standby
Any ideas?

i understand ha is configured on guest (not host). host should be standalone device.
did you configure ha on host?

Yes HA has been configured on the Hosts as well as the guests, this is working in our DR site but not production
