F5 LTE VE

I have the newest version of LTM VE and it is VMware hardware version 7, because of this I cannot power it up in a nested ESXi configuration. It needs to be version 9 or above. How can I do this? When I download the ISO and try to upload it to the LTM it states not enough space, but I cannot modify the hard drive space within the VM, I assume because it was built with .OVA file. Can some one direct me please.

    If you download the ISO from downloads.f5.com using your support account and use that to install the Virtual Edition within of VMWARE you can specify the drive size vs. using the OVA will want to allocate a fixed size.

      Ok so the OVA has the limitation of size. I will try the iso. thanks.
