f5 load balancer - SMTP not allowing us to send external

This may be a weird situation, so I appreciate your patience in advance.   I started a new position at a job that uses f5 for some load balancing. However, the team here is all new to the company ...

A bit hard to tell frankly as we have no info about the network layout, the BIG-IP configuration and so on. There's plenty of savvy guys here so if you give us more details we might be able to help you out. But I would seriously recommend that you urge your employer to let you attend some training courses to give you a good start in working with the BIG-IP.
