F5 LAB issue - Not able to browse to 10.1.0.145 as stated in cbt nuggets

I just tried the following on my PC with VirtualBox.

 

Enable the VirtualBox Host-Only Network Adapter.

 

Give the Adapter the IP Address of 10.1.0.1 with a Subnet Mask of 255.255.255.0

 

On the BIG-IP in the config screen add a default route with an IP Address of 10.1.0.1

 

You should now be able to ping and browse the 10.1.0.145 address.

    Thanks that seems to have done the trick.
