F5 device connected to?

How can i know where my f5 device is connected i mean to which layer 2 or layer 3 device?   How to check logs if i get a f5 device HA down issue?also where to check the logs imnot user please help...

1) walk up to it and follow the cables, probably not what you wanted to hear but it is the most sure way

 

2) via cli do you cat /var/log/ltm, via GUI you go to System ›› Logs : Local Traffic

 

not sure what you exact situation is but perhaps a small training from your F5 partner or an official F5 training might be a good idea.
