F5 Big-IP TMOS command to filter out inactive Virtual Servers and Pools?
Hi everyone, i'm currenly working on a Python F5 Big-IP Automation project and trying to find a solution to filter out inactive VIP's and Pools (0 hits in the last 12 months).
Is there an easy way to filter this out? Or any other way to this with the GUI or Splunk?
Kind Regards,

Hi Mohsen,
I'am not sure is possible to check if a pool, vs or node in the last 12 month (least or more), unless you have set up a very specific monitoring or feedback logs ...
However in statistic you can see bits, packet (in out) that transit in the object you want (vs, node, ...) since you reset statistics info...

Hi
If this project is New start project. I don`t know.
My company sale F5 and Monitoring server together.
Monitoring server collect Syslog and SNMNP data.
If there is MNS server, your work goes very easy.
If not, 3rd-party server should collect 'show ltm virtual ~~~~~' for 12month.
Case-open or Professional Service guide best solution.
have a good day.
