The upgrade process request the license re-activation. So yes, I reactivated the license. I was originally in 10.2.1 and the upgrade to the 10.2.3 succeeded. Here is below the different attempts I made.

 

From 10.2.1: upgrade to 11.4.1 failed ==> configuration issue upgrade to 11.0 failed ==> configuration issue upgrade to 10.2.4 failed ==> configuration issue upgrade to 10.2.3 succeed OK

 

From 10.2.3 : upgrade to 10.2.4-870.0-HF13 failed ==> configuration issue upgrade to 10.2.4-577.0 (no hotfix) failed ==> configuration issue upgrade to Hotfix 10.2.3-123.0-HF1 succeed OK

 

From 10.2.3-123.0-HF1 : upgrade to 10.2.4 (no hotfix) Failed ==> configuration issue
