f5 1600

I have an f5 1600 - ( inherited ) never used the product and don't know where to start. kind of difficult to do anything with it or find any info. Would like to see if we can wipe the config and try a fresh setup for testing purposes. Can anyone point me in the right direction ?

    As a fast start can you log to console port or shell with a valid account ?
