Hi, I'm new on big ip F5, i have 2 VIP with same server pool (same SNAT pool too), one on port 80 and one on port 443. port 80 : connection OK port 443 : we see the requests of the http monitor (port 8443) with code 200, but when we try to connect to the VIP, we don't see anything on the servers and we just have a timeout : (curl: (35) I/O operation timed out). any ideas ? This can happen if you have configured an HTTP profile on the VS that handles HTTPS traffic. If you configure an HTTP profile, the VS expects HTTP and interprets HTTPS as gibberish - silently dropping it.

Thx a lot you both for your quick answers ! The connection is OK after removing the HTTP profile, i'll have to look for more information on how it's work exactly.

F5 - Connection timeout https - OK http

Hi,
