Jul 24, 2013To the last question, ASM and APM CAN exist on the same LTM and actually play very nicely together (think chocolate and peanut butter). ;)
As for proxying from an external LTM to an internal APM, also yes. It'd actually be much more difficult if you had APM on both as they'd generally compete. So simply set the internal APM VIP as a pool on the external LTM and route the traffic that way.
