Expect-100 Continue with LDAP authentication

I have situation in an LDAP basic authentication setup. We have .net clients that are connecting over ssl to our site. We have LDAP authentication working fine with a browser using the sample rules that come with the authentication module. However when a .net client connects it sends a expect: 100 continue header. I have tried adding the suugestions from this thread http://devcentral.f5.com/Default.aspx?tabid=28&view=topic&forumid=5&postid=6032 and they work if the we are not using ssl. How do I do this when we are using SSL?
