Exchange 2013 Pool showing pools down

Using the Exchange 2013 template the Owa pool is working fine but the monitors show the OA, AS, and AD pool monitors down. One of the errors show "Offline (Enabled) /Common/Exchange_CAS_2013.app/Exchange_CAS_2013_oa_administrator_eav_monitor: No successful responses received before deadline"

    What does the exchange monitor check ? You may be able to re-create the function from the bash command line by using curl or echo in order to check the output. This will enable you to verify if the specific node is functioning properly.
