Erratic F5 behaviour (SNI not working, wrong last change date etc.)

I've had an odd occurrence this morning. I've managed to catch several symptoms, however I'm quite sure this list is not quite complete:

 

• SNI stopped working (the reason I caught the incident). One of my virtual servers was redirecting to default profile for SNI, even though a query was to a correct domain from other attached profile.

   

• The configuration time was set to some day in February (even though correct one should be in September)

   

• I received a Error Message: Instance not found:// when I tried to open a suspected client ssl profile (on standby F5 it opened just fine).

   

The problems reverted just after couple of minutes I started poking, and I'm not really sure when they started. /var/log/audit did not show anything out of ordinary since at leat 6 a.m today (the incident finished around 10 a.m. CET).

 

Any ideas where should I start looking for the cause of this oddities? I do suspect this was some kind of a bug. Nobody made any changes to this machine for a while.

 

I have a BIG-IP 4000 running on BIG-IP v12.1.3 (Build 0.0.378) with AFM and LTM modules active (two similar devices in Active/Standby HA solution).
