Enterprise Manager vs BIG-IQ

Hi, we have a virtual Enterprise Manager that was never put into production. In looking into getting this set up, I see that most materials are referencing BIG-IQ device for the same features. I was wondering do we need to move on from the EM as we are upgrading our LTM's to version 15, or can we stick with the EM.
