Enterprise Manager as SNMP manager for managed devices ?

Hi,

 

I have EM managing 8 F5 devices. I'm currently looking for a way to implement email notification for node/pool/vs/failover status change on those F5 device and already found few SOLs suggesting using user_alertd.conf to accomplish it.

 

The question I have is - could I use EM as trap designation for F5 devices to send traps to and then configure user_alertd.conf on the EM? If possible I would like to avoid managing user_alertd.conf file on each F5 device and do it in one place on EM.
